Our client is a very success information technology integration specialist working with public sector clients throughout the UK.
They have undergone exceptional growth and are looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivated, customer facing Sales Coordinator. You will be responsible for the overall sales administration processes and you will be expected to engage directly with current and new customers/clients.
In this position you will essentially perform the administrative tasks behind our product sales, providing support to sales representatives and ensuring product orders run smoothly, however, you are not responsible for selling products and services. Your main responsibility in this role is to make sure that company sales targets are being met in a satisfactory way, by motivating sales staff and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This role consists of administrative tasks, such as writing sales or invoice reports, creating sales presentations, ordering products and equipment, and maintaining customer information. You will also work with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to make certain that all sales and other related operations are running efficiently.
To ensure success, you will ideally have experience in an IT environment (not essential), and you will be able to demonstrate advanced sales administration and Microsoft Office skills.
The role is varied, and you will be working on multiple different tasks at once, its therefore you must be highly organised and able to work effectively under pressure. You will need the ability to be very productive with minimal senior management supervision, making your own decisions on how to optimise sales revenues.
Any experience within the public sector or health care environments would be a significant bonus but is NOT essential to be considered for this opportunity.
Main Duties
Coordinating the sales administration process.
Providing administrative support across the Sales team.
Managing general sales enquiries.
Maintaining data integrity in the company's CRM system
Checking all users are updating and using CRM to the agreed standards and protocols.
Regularly reviewing the sales pipeline and providing weekly reports on closed sales.
Preparation of quotations and sales reports.
Order chasing and assisting sales team to close business.
Ensuring quotes have been correctly calculated.
Helping to connect the Sales and Marketing efforts in order to increase the sales pipeline.
Sharing market knowledge with the sales team.
Developing a good understanding of the company's services and products.
Reporting to and supporting the Head of Sales.
You will be responsible for expanding this position as you develop within the business.
Extensive sales administration experience and be a confident user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
