The Large Group Sales Executive - Employer Group sells health insurance and related products to new large group accounts. The Large Group Sales Executive - Employer Group work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Large Group Sales Executive - Employer Group fully understands all product lines, sells to targeted clients, and identifies potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsible for 100 sales (excluding Group Medicare) for new business.
Cultivate and manage pipeline across all lines of business (medical, dental, vision, wellness, EAP).
Tracks all activities in company's CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
Meet or exceed quotas.
Collaborate with Agency Relationship Manager and Client Executive to expand broker/client hierarchy distribution in new markets.
Create targeted agency plans for 4 - 6 priority broker agencies in market.
Promote clinical, wellness and integrated service approach as a unique differentiator in the market.
Work closely with the market team to support, mentor and motivate the team to create a strong culture and drive positive results.
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
Builds Brand across the market in conjunction with outside organizations and key constituents.
Develop, strengthen and maintain relationships with national, regional and local firms who specialize in Large Group Segment.
Identify other strategic relationships in the market and develop those circles of influence to drive business to Humana, Inc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
5 years' experience selling within the Healthcare continuum to 100 employers.
Consultative selling background and experience
Experience influencing C-suite Executives either directly or through a broker medium
Executive presence
Business and Financial Acumen
Active life and health license
