International Arbitration and Litigation specialist practice is looking to fill the following vacancies:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are expanding and looking for a self-motivated, ambitious and confident individual who is familiar with commercial litigation and international arbitration (whether from a clerking/business development role in chambers or a law firm) to take on the responsibility of practice development for a group of leading international practitioners with offices in London and overseas.
The role will involve formulating and delivering a business development plan, assisting with pitches and proposals, and coordinating marketing and networking opportunities (including events, conferences and functions) at an international level.
This is an exciting role for someone with exceptional communication and networking skills, who is able to take the initiative and is proactive in spotting market opportunities.
ASSOCIATES
We are also recruiting for junior associates to join our busy practice which handles a wide variety of significant international and commercial disputes.
Associates have the opportunity to work on a wide range of international matters at the highest level, and (unlike many legal practices) will be given a high degree of responsibility on cases as well as active encouragement to develop professionally.
Applicants must be exceptional - excellent analytical skills, interested in pushing themselves to learn, academically very strong (with a minimum of an Upper Second degree, or equivalent, from a UK or US university), and ideally be qualified to practice law in either England and Wales or the United States. Individuals who have successfully completed the English Bar Course/Law Society course with outstanding results will also be considered.
Practical experience in the fields of international arbitration, commercial litigation and/or public international law and prior experience of advocacy will be advantageous.
