Description
As a member of the American Sales team, the Field Sales Engineer will facilitate the design-in and sale of Power Integrations’ power semiconductor products. You will be responsible for developing and significantly growing company accounts. This position will also include liaising with the U.S. applications engineering, sales and technical marketing teams as well as coverage of specific direct-design, direct and/or distributor accounts.
Responsibilities:
Maintain strong relationships at key accounts:
o Sustain existing business through active account management: Monitor sales against objectives, drive technical issue resolution, manage pricing negotiations and regular contact with key decision makers to discover new opportunities for growth.
o Develop new sales strategies at key accounts through account discovery process, leveraging existing relationships to penetrate target business units, and the discovery of new decision makers within those new business units.
o Create and maintain Key Account profiles including TAM/SAM/SoM analysis and key personnel list.
Manage monthly customer forecast and prepare weekly reports.
Create and present quarterly territory updates
Interact with and guide the FAE team to successfully achieve design-wins.
Monitor, analyze and report competitor products and activity.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline is required.
Travel: 50-80%
Language: English
REQUIREMENTS
Within the designated sales territory (Central North America) Preference: Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit areas
