Job Description
Key Responsibilities/essential functions include (but are not limited to)
Financial Performance & Sales Management
You are accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Operating Plan targets (Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, and Cash, where applicable) for DACH
You are accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of Orders and S&I and is responsible for driving optimal Imaging Operating Mechanisms (IOMs) to monitor and track progress of opportunities and deliver on Order commitment
Is responsible to ensure that all PSS utilize the required sales tool (CRM) to create pipeline visibility and assist accurate forecasting (SFDC rigor)
Provide input to and contribute to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles for the Surgery Business within DACH (e.g. Marketing plan, BPR session). Is responsible to set appropriate OP targets for PSS/PCS
Customers, Market & Product expertise
You continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge of products, including awareness of current and future trends in Surgery healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms
You understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to set business strategies and develop opportunities (i.e., protect IB); provide ongoing feedback to management (Region marketing).
You drive product’s configuration quality at the point of offer and order entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs
You will lead, educate and drive products positioning & strategy (value proposition and key messages) of Interventional & Surgery product/solution/service through adequate products training sessions to sales teams (PSS & AM)
You coach and assist the PSS/PCS with the differentiation of product offerings during the various stages of the sales process; ensure that all PSS/PCS have clear opportunity management activity and call plans to ensure efficient coverage of decision makers and influencers
You maintain professional relations with KOLs and customers in Academia, and nurture relationships with professional society stakeholders, to ensure understanding of needs and positioning new products (NPIs) in these key customer groups
Team Coaching
You drive a culture of Simplification, Fastwork and Digital adoption among the team members, encouraging and facilitating the collaboration across horizontal teams (Service, ITO, OTR, Finance, Design team, etc.)
You drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention, recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to senior leaders within the Region and Headquarters
You drive performance management within the team, providing a regular mechanism of feedbacks through the PPG tool
You regularly provide updates to your team on company, region product strategies and customer insights
You act as a role model for collaborative mindset across functions, facilitate effective communication & trustful collaboration within the Zone/Product matrix organization
Qualifications/Requirements
You bring a Bachelor or Master Degree (preferred)
You have a grounded, solid experience in healthcare industry with a proven track record in Sales functions
You are experienced in people management and bring strong leadership skills as well as sales coaching & team building skills
You have a strong business acumen and data interpretation skills; advanced negotiation and financial skills
You are strong in strategic planning and execution and have very good influencing skills
You have high level presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability and passion to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships
You have the ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization
You are an inspirational leader with optimism, highly approachable and humble.
You bring the ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward-thinking and customer-first attitude
You have excellent oral and written communications skills in English as well as excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple details and deadlines
