AN INSIGHT TO THE ROLE
Lead sales growth - develop long term partnerships with farming customers across North America
Provide specialized technical knowledge and consultation to customers as required to help lead generation and closure of sales

Livestock smart farming
dairy solutions revenue generation plans - build pipelines
Work alongside and develop sustainable relationships with key influencers and channel partners
Understand the customer's and channel partner's strategic business objectives and business processes/metrics, including their organization, financial decision-making process and business challenges
Assist in the development of the smart farming solution
offering by communicating the business or market needs to the relevant global product owner in the smart farming team
Provide market insights and competitor updates to internal stakeholders
Identify area opportunities to help develop the business and build brand awareness, e.g. discussion groups, on-farm field days, local sponsorship
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Commercial & customer focus - outcome driven, resilient, self-motivated, proactive
Engaging with highly effective communication, relationships & listening skills - ability to adapt your style and build rapport and credibility quickly
Essential will be your deep connection with the farming and agriculture sector - ideally Dairy farming, agri capital sales (e.g. dairy automation) and a proven business development career
Business acumen in presenting solutions on an ROI basis, strategies & successful penetration of territories for business growth - managing and building sales pipelines
Qualified degree preferably within Electrical and Electronics
Absolute appetite for the industry and emerging technologies and ability to grasp and effectively communicate technical solutions
Strong competence in computer literacy

This role works closely with and reports to our Regional Sales Director in North America. As a remote position, a significant amount of travel will be required to visit customers on farm and Distributors across the United States.
