They are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to be a part of this amazing property! Signia by Hilton San Jose Silicon Valley (805 Rooms, 65K Sq Ft Meeting Space)n2nd Signia in the World following the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek OrlandonArguably the most iconic hotel in Silicon Valley and the catalyst in attracting Convention business to the citynFull Renovation will begin including Rooms, Restaurants and Pool experience nWhat will I be doing?As a Complex Senior Sales Manager, you would be responsible for representing both the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:nManage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group and IBT sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and room rental. nSolicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.nContinually identify research and develop new business for assigned segment. nMeet revenue goals, solicitation and new IBT accounts.nPrepare weekly reports including production, solicitation, Agency 360 analysis, action plans, target accounts, etc.nHandle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts. nDevelop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. nPrepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account. nCommunicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers. nPrepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. nParticipate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required. nDevelop and implement creative sales strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel/market/account trends.nAttend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. nConduct site visits and prepare proposals to impress the client.nKeep abreast of budgeted revenue goals and develop action plans to achieve goals.nEnsure all guest checks, payments, master folios and advance deposits are submitted to accounting.nAdvanced knowledge of market trends, competition and key customers of the hotel. nFollow up and resolve any client complaints with Hotel services and or facilities. nRequirementsWhat are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
