Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the direct management and
leadership of an assigned Sales Market and Distribution Center. The
Sales Manager is responsible for directing, leading, and coaching a team
that includes all Home Market and FSOP Sales, Delivery, and
Merchandising in the assigned franchise. The Sales Manager has the
responsibility for all in-market execution, efficiencies, functional
collaborations, customer service, and team and individual development.
They also are accountable for safety, quality, volume, and revenue
generation as well as proper reporting of outcomes to the appropriate
levels of management to ensure expected goals are met. Duties &
Responsibilities Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver key
business results (volume, revenue, margin) by communicating company
goals and deadlines Engagesand developsteammates through effective
performance management, coaching, and training; implementscontinuous
improvement methods and embodiescompany purpose and values to inspire
servant leadership opportunities Reviews current execution initiatives
and implements play to course-correct where needed; plans against
upcoming commercial plan initiatives, including promotions, new product
launches, etc. Establishes positive, profitable, selling relationships
with key customers to drive successful execution of our Commercial Plans
in the market; builds and sells in independent small and large store
contracts; conduct business reviews Develops routines processes to
ensure success across the assigned franchise including but not limited
to maintaining safety compliance, conducting internal audits, assessing
product to ensure quality, and conducting teammate training Oversees
point of sale, rack management, and reviews product inventory Knowledge,
Skills, & Abilities Shared company ethics and values Advanced selling
skills, proven leadership ability, personnel management skills Excellent
problem solving and analytical skills Ability to effectively
collaborate, strong attention to detail Sales management skills
Excellent safety record and excellent driving record required (a 7-year
Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed) Proven customer management
ability Strongly preferred; 7 years progressive management experience in
soft drink, beverage industry, or related industry Excellent PC skills
(MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work a flexible schedule as
needed This role acts as a general manager with direct responsibility
for sales, delivery, and merchandising with an expectation of high
engagement in other departments in the branch Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Preferred
