Aon is looking for an Account Executive III- Surety in Chicago, IL About Aon Surety:As a leader in the industry, Aon is one of the largest surety brokers representing both contract and commercial clients both domestically and globally. We are the top broker with the majority of the large surety companies. Aon is seeking candidates for a Surety Account Executive Position to join our team. Job ResponsibilitiesManage activities and personnel to achieve the targeted revenue and margin growth in the Region as outlined in the annual budget.Achieve the targeted lift on all fee-based revenue in the aggregate.Direct all client opportunities with annual revenue of less than $25,000 to Specialty.Initiate at least 1 cross sell opportunities annually representing at least $75,000 of revenueInitiate or participate in new business opportunities that generate $250,000 in new new revenue annuallyManage all client engagements to produce at least a 65% contribution margin relative to Surety deliverables.Manage all client activities necessary to achieve revenue objectives for your office/region..100% utilization of CSG Sales & Syndication tracking protocols as defined.Insure all client receivables are managed according to company guidelines and to prevent any bad debt write-offs or interest expense to CSG.Manage T&E expenses according to company guidelines and CSG goals Define and execute Client Promise annually for all clients with revenue in excess of $50,000.Maintain accurate client profiles in ABL to allow proper client service and representation with the Surety community.Provide all information needed for the Aon Surety Cost of Credit Modeling tool and other advocacy tools.Assist with content creation that ensures Aon sustains thought leadership by offering at least 2 work products to the Knowledge Ambassador annually.Utilize templates and tools that are consistent with Surety and Aon branding and content protocols.Utilize and maintain SFDC with all information needed to execute efficient sales and marketing activities.Participate in all Surety and CSG sales and client review meetings in order to deliver the full firm and sustain deep client relations.100% utilization of Aon Time Tracking and AVX according to company guidelines.Conduct all activities necessary to have 100% compliance with Aon T&D requirements.Work with Regional Surety Director to provide guidance and support necessary for personal achievement by those colleagues in your office/region as measured by their PMP success.Assist all managed personnel in their technical subject matter development efforts.Assist with acclimation of any new advisory staff according to company and CSG guidelines and provide assistance necessary for their successful performance.Execute all activities relating to PMP for all personnel according to company guidelines and CSG goals.Participate in talent sourcing and development programs, including company intern and college hire programs as requested.Complete all mandatory “ACES” learning modules.Participate in industry functions and seek leadership positions that allow personal and firm exposure as subject matter expert.Conduct all activities according to Surety BPGs and aggressively position ABL with clients to achieve at least a 35% client connectivity ratio.Participate on at least one “special” project within the Surety group annually to increase exposure to colleagues and assist with solution, tool development.Contribute and participate in marketplace positioning of CSG with carriers, clients and prospects.Full compliance with all Aon Values is always expected of Aon colleagues.Acts with integrity and works in a way that positively impacts our clients, colleagues and communities.Understands and lives the Aon Leadership Model.Skills and experience that lead to success: At least 10 years of placement experience or comparable activities in the construction industry segment.
