Job Description
The Middle Market Sales Executive is responsible for developing and cultivating strong relationships with key constituents (producers, plan sponsors and/or consumers depending on business model) to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth. This role targets the employer group market with 101 to 5,000 eligible employees for medical, pharmacy, stop loss, dental, vision and voluntary lines of coverage.

Fundamental Goals Include:
- Developing new business opportunities to grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.
- Ensures product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives.
- Manages and builds producer relations as needed depending on book of business or market segment
being supported.
- Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line illustrating a keen understanding of client's multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array
- Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.
-Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations.
- May participate in constituent meetings including finalist presentations.
-Develops/maintains and communicates expertise on products, industry and emerging marketplace trends.
- Travel and after hour meetings with producers and business constituents expected

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 48,300
Maximum: 99,300

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of healthcare industry and sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in a consultative selling environment
- Understanding of group health insurance products and components (fully insured, self-funded, level funded, stop loss, pbm's, etc.)
- Active Health & Life license
- Must be able to travel within assigned market (Tennessee)
- Confident and comfortable presenting information in a group setting

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in business or marketing preferred
- Graduate Degree or healthcare industry designation a plus (GBA, RHU, CEBS, REBC, etc)
- Strong business acumen
- Group health insurance sales experience a plus

Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma 4 years relevant experience)
