Description
The Manager of Sales Administration provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition and retention of customers. The Manager of Sales Administration work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Sales Administration's primary function is to support the sales team and market activities. Including but not limited to the following. Assists with Commission/Pay Audits. Answers internal and customer inquiries. Communicates with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of issues and resolve customer complaints as well as escalated Customer Service Issues. Maintains the Compliance Integrity for the market with great attention to detail. Maintains up-to-date agent records. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues' regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Assigning tasks to employees and following up on their progress.
This position is based in our Uniondale, NY office.
Required Qualifications
3 years of Administrative or Office management experience
Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses or ability to obtain
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Must reside and be able to work out of our Uniondale, NY office.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in Spanish/English with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance
Leadership experience
Insurance support experience
Sales support experience
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
