If so, the Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for managing all available resources to help achieve sales growth within the assigned market. You will maintain and support all external field sales resources within the market (individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners). In this role, you will also develop external market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Associate Director, career markets, telesales executives and account executives, including all sales support. Responsibilities
The BRM is responsible for hosting & coordinating (in cooperation with the local Career market team) all training opportunities for External Agents in the market, along with virtual/remote webinars etc. You are also responsible for direct performance metrics, including sales from Broker Engagement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in the Medicare industry with a focus on management/leadership
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build relationships with communities and medical providers.
High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently
Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry is preferred
Great with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
This position requires approximately 50% or more of local travel (driving) with some overnight stays
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Must reside in the local territory or be willing to relocate - this position covers the Houston, Texas area
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish without limitations or assistance
Additional Information
After offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) prior to your start date
If candidate has prior experience as licensed agent, it might represent a conflict of interest; therefore, he/she could be asked to relinquish existing book of business and cannot provide any services as an insurance agent.
