The Community Engagement Representative is responsible for generating revenue for Care Delivery clinics through procurement of new patients for the clinics.
Responsibilities
To generate revenue for Care Delivery clinics, the Community Engagement Representative coordinates new patients coming to a Care Delivery clinic for an office visit, which is accomplished by: Building strong lasting relationships with community partners, Building and executing community events focused on generating leads that turn in to prospective patients with an office visit, and Building and executing in center activities focused on 'bring a friend' referrals. The Community Engagement Representative interacts with prospective patients to provide an overview of the clinical model of care that we employ within our Care Delivery clinics nationwide. The Community Engagement Representative executes local community events to promote and sell the Care Delivery clinical care model to prospective patients.
The Community Engagement Professional's responsibilities include:
Planning and managing events throughout the community daily, either independently or with health plan brokers, to introduce our brand and tell 'our story'.
Signing seniors up for appointments with physicians or capturing information from visitors to these events to create a base of prospective patients. Following up with these leads to cultivate and ultimately close them.
Building strong lasting relationships with community partners to support relationships with community organizations that serve seniors, including faith-based organizations, community centers, and senior housing facilities.
Hosting health and well-being and social events inside the activities room at one or more primary care centers often in collaboration with a care team member; leveraging grassroots marketing such as 'bring a friend' to generate prospective patient leads.
Leading tours of the primary care centers for prospective patients as needed.
Documenting all interactions with prospects in the Salesforce tool.
Collaborating with marketing to ensure events and activities are documented appropriately for promotional use across media and direct marketing channels.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as business needs dictate
Required Qualifications
Ability to build community partnerships
MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish
Travel is a requirement for this position - You will travel between 3 of the EliteHealth Clinics (Pembroke Pines, Davie and North Bay Village, which is in Miami Beach) travel to other Community Centers for Events is required as well
Strong entrepreneurial and ambition to meet sales goals and metrics
At least 2 to 3 years of strong sales experience/background in any industry, but Medical is preferred
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.
