Bring your clinical background to BayCare Clinic and partner with our Neuroscience and Stroke team as a Business Development Manager. Working closely with the Director of Strategic Growth & Business Development and the clinic's management team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining successful market-appropriate business sales/development. This individual also maintains a strong working relationship with providers and community members.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Identifies, negotiates and manages strategic business development initiatives.
Working with the Business Development/Marketing team, plans, coordinates and implements all market introductions and business development activities.
Acts as liaison between referring providers and Clinic physicians, management and staff.
Provides support to all existing BCC referral sources and any sources of business in all geographic locations.
Works collaboratively with business development, marketing and operational staff to develop new referral sources for all BCC specialty providers.
Has a working understanding of regional market issues, including but not limited to third party payer mix, demographic mix, and all other factors that influence the business of BCC specialty providers.
Provides measurements and metrics for gauging success of the position.
Respects and maintains confidentiality.
Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
Desired Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in healthcare, business, business development or related field, or equivalent experience highly desired.
Wisconsin RN licensure or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program strongly preferred.
Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.
Neuroscience clinical background ideal.
Strong background in health care and/or insurance required.
Must be a self-starter and have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess a strong working knowledge of MS Office and other related software.
Adaptability to change is required.
