The Opportunity
The Product Sales Specialist is the principal Pre-sales contact for the Sales Acquisition team, specifically for net new prospects. Using their refined product knowledge and experience in crafting custom technical solutions for new customers with particular needs, this individual will assist in the closing of new sales opportunities by conducting product demos, participating on pre-sales calls and offering other forms of support to prospects through acquisition sales as required.
The Product Sales Specialist has extensive knowledge of FreshBooks’ complete features and benefits as well as the various Partner solutions that FreshBooks integrates with. They possess an unshakeable ability to deliver not only great customer service to our sales acquisition team and potential high value clients, but can also employ value-add sales tactics to help close/maintain the deal.
Armed with their ability to remain calm and collected amidst high stakes situations, this individual is dedicated to real-time pre-sales support for the acquisition team in sales and their potential customers.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with the Sales Acquisition team by providing expert advice during pre-sales conversations with prospects
Use value-add sales techniques with potential customers to help close deals
Join sales reps on phone calls, on-line demonstrations and meetings.
Deliver customized professional product demonstrations and presentations to larger potential customers with additional in-depth solution knowledge
Manage inbound emails and phone calls from potential customers, aligning to conversations with the sales rep
Routinely liaise with the Sales Team to maintain a functional understanding of initiatives.
Be a SME of Best Practices and provide additional aid to existing and new Account Executives
Update activity in Salesforce regularly
What You'll Bring to the Role
1 years of B2B pre-sales in SaaS
1 years of quota carrying sales experience and a demonstrated track record of over-achieving said quota
A proven track record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a similar role or environment
Experience working cross-functionality with other departments (Support, Marketing etc.)
Working knowledge of SalesForce
You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In
Online Payments knowledge
Previous sales training in a popular selling system (SPIN, PSS, etc)
