Description
The Senior Channel Development Professional (Senior Professional) will support department and team strategic goals by developing and executing key initiatives to support Mail Order Pharmacy (MOP) & Specialty Pharmacy (HSP) growth. The role will uncover business opportunities within Humana Inc where member focused processes and direct member interactions provide the ability educate said members on the benefits of leveraging MOP. Once new opportunities are identified, the Senior Professional will effectively define the scope of the relationship in terms of member impact and pull through opportunity to Pharmacy, The Senior Professional will further optimize existing MarketPOINT relationships to support incremental Humana Pharmacy growth.
Responsibilities
The Senior Professional will work cross functionally, reaching across multiple business channels and all Humana Departments including but not limited to: MarketPOINT Retail Segment, Humana Pharmacy Solutions, Medicare and MAPD Markets, Pharmacy Analytics, Internal Humana Business Development teams, and more to grow and execute key initiatives to support Humana Mail Order Pharmacy and Humana Specialty Pharmacy. This positions will work with our partners to develop business opportunities and key performance indicators to drive Humana Pharmacy growth within the MarketPOINT Retail Segment. They will collaborate closely with divisional and regional business leaders and teams to create and develop effective and strategic market strategies. Identify new business opportunities to increase overall Humana Pharmacy market share, though data, and identifying key areas of improvement through trend and utilization analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and develop new, and strengthen current business (channel delivery) partnerships to support incremental growth.
Deliver annual incremental growth of member referrals to Pharmacy through the development of new and current business opportunities.
Build, manage and deliver effective and actionable project strategies that support Growth Initiative Goals of delivering incremental, quality member Rx referrals to the RX Enrollment and Education Team
Develop, enhance and optimize existing Humana business channels as noted above to become, member pharmacy referral sources (channels)
Build DRI relationships with key business (channel) leaders within division and region.
Establish processes and actions needed to leverage new and current channels in a manner to support their business outcomes, while leveraging the newly aligned partner to source member referrals to the Pharmacy Education team.
Assure success measure are clearly established, utilize data/reporting and trends to best assess channel performance and ways to optimize performance within channels and divisions.
Reviewing establish processes to determine new ways to support current and new business partners, so we can drive better adoption of campaigns, enhancing business outcomes to grow referrals
Provide feedback and success measures to divisional leaders that allows them to track and react to the data and how outcomes can be improved.
Identify and guide the development of support materials needed to enhance member referrals to include but not limited to: Informational pamphlets, education and training materials, reference documents, contact communications, incentives, etc.
Specify data, reporting and trending criteria needs to best assess effectiveness of channel performance, identify trends to uncover and optimize previously unforeseen incremental growth opportunities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
Experience in healthcare, PBM industry, business development or related business
2 to 4 years of experience leading and implementing initiatives, projects and/or optimization activities
2 or more year of Medicare Sales experience or exposure
Experience with digital platforms such as ZOOM, WebEx and Microsoft Teams
Moderate to High level Experience in analyzing and interpreting financial trends, data and reports
Moderate to High Level experience on all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access with emphasis Power point and excel
Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Lead and/or leadership experience within a healthcare business development area and Medicare retail sales
Experience working with initiatives associated with MarketPOINT, Market Operations, Retail Sales segment
Lean or other project improvement based certification
High Level of Experience with Microsoft Excel
Project Management Certification
Strong analytical and financial skills
