The Growth Team Sales Trainer will assess learning, performance and development needs creating, designing and facilitating development plans that deliver on KPIs. This individual will create and implement processes, programs and training (workflow and technology) to ensure field sales (both broker and community engagement) along with telesales staff are fully prepared to be successful in their role.
Responsibilities
The Growth Team Sales Trainer will collaborate concurrently with their direct leader, market leaders, channel leaders, platform owners and the learning team. This individual will assess learning, performance and development needs to create, design and develop plans that deliver on KPIs. This role will source or create needed resources, lead the transition of technology migrations, and help identify new training mechanisms for ongoing operational processes.
Responsibilities:
Builds organizational capabilities and enhances organization effectiveness and performance by working with internal business partners
Matches organizational needs with appropriate learning solutions
Uses consultative skills to conduct project intake and needs analyses
Partners collaboratively and cohesively within and across teams, subject matter experts, business leaders and stakeholders
Creates and executes design and project plans
Plans, organizes, designs and develops learning solutions inclusive of training curriculum, course materials, performance support, leader support materials and scripts
Facilitates classroom, virtual and blended learning to varied audiences within multiple skill sets
Creates assessments and measurement plans to aid in optimizing learning experiences and support business outcomes
Conducts continuous learning/research into most current best practices for learning experience and design
Provides instruction and guidance to facilitators (train-the-trainer)
Required Qualifications:
Relevant bachelor's degree in Learning and Performance, Education, Organizational Development or combination of education and/or work experience
Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and enthusiastically
Strong performance orientation around selling, sales goals and metrics
Strong collaboration and team-building skills
Process development expertise
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment with changing processes and priorities
Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple details simultaneously and the ability to move between strategic and tactical work
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
Ability to travel 50-60%
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish
Experience in learning strategies and adult learning theories
Experience measuring learning solutions and tying to performance
Progressive strategic and operational experience
