Description
The Client Executive - Employer Group is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Client Executive - Employer Group work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Client Executive - Employer Group oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements. Develops and oversees customer retention campaigns. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
3 years or more Health Insurance Sales and/or Account Management experience
Active State Life & Health Insurance License 2-15)
Strong Organizational skills
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
Intermediate experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as Virtual Web tools such as WebEx and Zoom
25 - 50% travel required, local within territory - territory can expand further based on business need
This role is part of Humana's Driver Safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
Self-start, who knows how to work well with a team to achieve ambitious goals
Ability to work with minimal supervision within the role
All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.

Prior Business to Business Sales experience with Specialty products (Dental, Vison, Life)
Experience working with Insurance Agents and Brokers
Knowledge / Awareness of area Provider Networks
Background in Medical products
Additional Information
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
