on behalf of our client, who is a leading hardware & agricultural wholesaler near Cork City. A knowledge of hardware, DIY or an Agri Background is a distinct advantage. This is a full time permanent role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a progressive employer that has won numerous awards for its achievements to date.
Reporting to the Department Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Building relationships with existing customers
* Account Management of existing accounts
* Organising deliveries
* Customer service and advising customers of new and existing products.
* Invoicing and following up on payment ( Credit control )
* Dealing with couriers.
* Administration.
Candidate profile:
* Knowledge of hardware and DIY
* Previous sales and customer service experience an advantage
* Polite and professional telephone manner
