Job Details:
Position Summary: This position is responsible for working predominately with assigned Commercial Chains sales and customer base to support daily management of our core business, with a focus on Poultry. This position is responsible for overseeing inventory availability, facilitating movement and allocations aligned with customer demand and working across Customer Service, Business Unit partners, Supply Chain, Transportation and Warehousing teams as well as with customers to execute, which also includes management of aged inventory and leading plans for resolution and disposition. This position owns the ATP process for assigned customers; customer-specific reporting ownership and communication/distribution; overseeing forecasting analysis and bridging updates across internal team and with customers; working with sales team, business units and customers to implement solutions and drive marketplace change in regards to raw materials, process technology/changes and other product related areas; supporting in SKU changes, launches, or rationalization—overseeing and communicating supply chain impacts, plans and actions needed to sales and customer teams; supporting in preparation and execution of annual customer-specific RFPs and corresponding freight bids; ensuring proper alignment and execution in ongoing freight lane setup for customers internally and with customers externally; working with sales team to execute the overall business strategy within the assigned customer base including managing ad-hoc projects and requests. REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors Degree required and transferrable work experience preferred.
Experience: 3 plus years relevant experience in customer service, supply chain/product movement, BU, customer trade marketing, sales, marketing, sales analytics or category management.
Computer Skills: Expert level competency in analytics/Analysis for Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint proficiency, Power BI experience also preferred.
Specials Skills: Analytics, demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and make recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers. Critical thinker. Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize in fast paced environment with little direction from management.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to collaborate with sales organization, other internal partners, and externally directly with customers.
Travel: 1-3 trips per year
