Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is directly responsible for managing the sales and positioning of Beef and Case-Ready Trim and/or sausage variety meat items produced by Tyson Fresh Meats Division. Also responsible for coordinating sales efforts within the Tyson sales network of national and International Service Centers to maximize overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group. The position requires interaction on a daily basis with key Beef and Case Ready plant Operations, Scheduling, Traffic, Claims, Credit, and other internal support groups as well as an internal and external customer base. Maximize sales realizations, optimal inventory position management and exemplary customer service are the primary goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Experience in Beef or Pork Sales and/or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal presentation skills excellent customer interaction skills goal oriented overall positive and productive approach and strong writing skills are a requirement.
Special Skills: Creative problem solving skills are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Travel: 2 to 6 trips annually
