What's the role

Grease is Shell’s premium offer specifically designed to ensure our customers can generate additional value in their business. In the industrial landscape, we can easily be distracted with focusing only in price offers, where pressure from competition also comes in the same space. Ability to offer added value products beyond pricing will play a crucial role in growing in this particular product which will eventually deliver a very healthy revenue for Shell Indonesia in a very challenging sectors of B2B & Mining.

The Grease and Key Account Bus. Dev. Advisor role is unique as you will be part of B2B marketing team who are convinced that Shell's commercial products will benefit other business and eventually bringing more commercial value for them, while also responsible for actual performance of Grease sales and profitability.

As a Grease and Key Account Bus. Dev. Advisor, you will be advocating the premium B2B product agenda through Grease. Your primary role will be to implement and develop Grease CVP with focus in premium drive and ensure excellent execution in the field. More specifically, your role will include:


Implement Grease strategy & B2B Premium both through organic & inorganic effort with full alignment to the regional & global grease agenda.
Implement Grease CVP (alongside sector managers), with different sectors & applications uniqueness being considered in the development. to ensure excellent execution in various complex sector environments & diverse stakeholders.
Develop new businesses through new acquisitions and maximizing cross sell following optimum grease ratio through fit for purpose holistic offers.
Manage the grease portfolio in Indonesia across all channels with considerations of key factors such as the market size, sector focus and commercial competitiveness.
Perform insight generation and develop market and competition landscape to allow sectoral strategy development of product and price positioning as well as fit for purpose marketing initiatives and activations.
Execute the sustainability agenda in the mining sector & decarbonization strategy within Mining sector.


What we need from you

As a Grease and Key Account Bus. Dev. Advisor, you will need to be able to perform insight generation to understand the different nuances of grease applications in various sectors, capability in turning those insights into CVP suited for various sectors considering their environment and ability to collaborate closely with sector marketing managers, Shell’ sales team and distributor team to implement the CVP. Furthermore, you will also need:


A Minimum bachelor degree in engineering or management
Experience in sales or marketing for industrial products
Collaboration skills and capability to deliver through others
Self-motivated & able to work without constant control from line manager
Fluent in English & having a track record of presentation capability to various stakeholders.


This role is part of sales role and eligible for Sales Bonus Scheme
