As a Senior Account Executive, you will support the crafting of our outbound sales strategy and work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver value-added solutions to our customers. What you'll do on a typical day:
Build new relationships for GXO Direct eFulfillment with enterprise retailers, digitally native brands and large marketplace sellers
Effectively prospect a sales pipeline by researching and communicating with targets via email, calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other methods
Formulate the commercial strategy for each opportunity and partner with the engineering and pricing teams to deliver competitive proposals
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including the e-commerce landscape and the fulfillment industry
Help drive value-creating insights, recommendations and solutions
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
2 years of professional sales experience
It'd be great if you also have:
2 years of experience in transportation or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
B2B sales experience and or experience of working or selling online retail
High level of expertise and understanding of eCommerce
Software sales experience
Ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling value propositions
