Within the job family of B2B/B2C Lubricants, a range of commercial positions can be found such as those in sales and marketing which aims to attract and retain customers, build long-term customer loyalty and create demand for Shell’s Lubricants; business development which looks to identify new opportunities as well as to leverage more from existing accounts; and Strategy which aims to provide expert problem-solving and project management support for the highest priority strategic issues.

What’s the role?

As an Account Manager for Lubricants, you will support system set-ups and changes (pricing, contracts etc.) based on the information provided and assists in analysis of information.

Your further Accountabilities include:


Guides internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales team) based on basic data analysis and provides incidental support (in the set up and amendment of contracts etc.).
Handles complex activities with moderate variation.
Deals with less straightforward questions, adjustment with many sources of information necessary within and outside business supported.
Provides support in managing multiple processes and systems.
Works within a limited variety of well-defined procedures and practices (not necessarily standardized) and is supervised on progress and results by manager.
Works autonomously within this defined scope, directly supporting management and specialists.


What we need from you?

We’re keen to hear from individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree in either in Engineering or Management, along with at least 3 to 8 years’ experience in key account management, channel sales, and selling/negotiation.

Beyond that, we’d like to see the following on your CV:


Strong experience in sales, account management, pricing management, B2B and B2C selling.
Background within the industry of automotive, paints, chemicals, building, tyres or batteries.
Willing to travel or relocate comfortably.
Location based in Rajkot or Surat.
