WHAT YOU WILL DO
Be responsible for supporting and supervising the development of the White Cloud brand expansion of Kruger Products.
Direct sales growth plan related to the White Cloud brand.
Lead Kruger Products cross-functional customer team of 7 employees with the goal of enhancing Kruger Products’ position with its customers.
Monitor preferences to determine sales efforts focus and capitalize on opportunities within the areas of manufacturing, logistics and product development to enhance sales.
Oversee trade-marketing activities of Kruger Products, which includes 18 million cases of trademark and private label.
Oversee development of trade-marketing activities by developing customer pull strategies to maximize the White Cloud brand expansion.
Achieve brand and corporate brand targets for the accounts while maximizing both Variable Gross Profit and direct contribution on each product within the branded and corporate brand program.
Develop, execute and track plans in order to achieve Kruger Products’ sales targets for the U.S. grocery, drug, mass and dollar channel, and acquire new customers.
Recruit and organize staff required to achieve sales target plans.
Identify training requirements for sales resources, brokers and customers to ensure Kruger Products provides the required training.
Participate in the strategic discussions and meetings of the business unit leadership team, providing input on sales strategies, targets and achievements.
Participate in key account presentations that reflect corporate direction, product line-up and promotional activity.
Supervise U.S. marketing team to maximize advertising and promotional spend against White Cloud brand and sales accrual in place to develop trade, advertising plans and brand sales.
Lead preparation of innovative corporate brands programs that achieve preferred corporate brand partner status for Kruger Products at selected U.S. customers.
Ensure on-going category analysis for retailer, total market and competitive level is prepared and delivered to customs to intercept competitive threats and maintain preferred corporate brand and brand partner status.
Identify competitive threats, technology and quality required and work with product development, quality, research and development, and manufacturing to develop plans that counter these threats.
Extensive domestic travel is required up to 80% of the year to attend sales and trade marketing meetings in various states.
Must have 10 years experience as sales manager, or closely related occupation, leading a cross functional team in sales, account management, supply and distribution agreements, marketing, supply chain, finance and customer service. This experience shall include 5 years experience specific to the pulp and paper – tissue industry.
Must have at least each of the following: 10 years experience in managing consumer-packaged goods, including tissue industry experience specializing in consumer retail tissue.
5 years experience in managing branded tissue business, including successful new launches of tissue categories as well as managing the advertising and promotion budgets.
10 years experience of broker management including qualifying and monitoring performance as well as having established broker relationships with key customers e.g., Albertsons, Walmart, and others.
5 years experience managing private label contracts for key North American (U.S. and Canada) retail customers in tissue industry, including landing, maintaining and retaining contracts.
10 years experience with profit and loss statements as it relates to tissue industry with focus on pulp costs, advertising, freight and promotional spending.
5 years experience managing key customers in North America (U.S. and Canada) e.g., Albertsons, Walmart, and others.
5 years experience with senior leadership relationships with key North American (U.S. and Canada) customers e.g., Albertsons, Walmart, and others.
Extensive domestic travel is required up to 80% of the year to attend sales and trade marketing meetings in various states.
