The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative sales support to the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales Team to ensure efficient management of the sales process as outlined below:General Administrative Support nAttend daily sales briefings and assist with managing the day-to-day operations in the Sales officenMaintain knowledge of all hotel services and serve as a central point of information for all client inquiriesnHandle telephone inquiries and/or direct them appropriatelynCoordinate all activities surrounding the sales process to support sales team members including reservation requests and follow-up, site inspection coordination, client event execution, VIP and special reservations and general questions about the hotelnAssist the Sales team with proposals, contracts, client presentations and sales call preparation as needednHandle and coordinate follow up correspondence and respond to all incoming inquiries as directednAssist in coordinating travel and sales itinerariesnDevelop and maintain relationships with sales account contacts as a secondary level of supportnMaintain sales databases and account profiles on an ongoing basisnSystems Support & ReportingnPossess an in-depth understanding of Salesforce and serve as a secondary support to the Sales Systems Analyst; ability to enter inquiries, bookings, contacts, etc. as needednAssign group leads in Cvent as needednTrack reservation activity as needed on OperanAssist in the completion of reports, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations as requirednDirector of Sales & Marketing Specific SupportnAssist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the creation of new reports to analyze booking trends and track sales productivitynAssist in the tracking and payment of departmental expensesnAssist in the preparation and submission of quarterly sales incentive reportingnAssist with all PR & Marketing related administrative worknAssist in the organization of the annual Marketing Plan as requirednPrepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requirednJob RequirementsnA minimum of two years of experience in a Sales office capacitynBachelor’s degree, a concentration in hospitality a plusnMust be computer saavy and possess experience with Microsoft suitenAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationnAbility to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectivesnGood time management and problem solving skillsnExcellent verbal and written communications skillsnMust be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlinesnEffective in anticipating, managing and solving problems as necessarynAbility to cross-train in other hotel areas as necessarynAttend all hotel required meetings and trainingsn Source: Hospitality Online,
