**A Day in the Life**
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Associate Inside Sales Representative will have a consultative approach to sales, working as a partner with internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to source, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. This is an opportunity to really drive your medical device sales career into an exciting direction!
**Key Responsibilities:**
Driving sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities
Serving as an Inside Sales Representative across Australia & New Zealand to achieve and ideally exceed assigned sales quotas and all the relevant goals and metrics.
Generating market interest and close sales by executing product and segment marketing activities such as product demonstrations, focus areas or campaigns
Actively following up all Medtronic product opportunities, referring leads as appropriate
Building relationships and trust with customers, be a key part of their buying decisions
Understanding customer buying patterns and use it to schedule calls
Contributing to the fiscal revenue goals and proposing and defining tactical activities
**Must Have:**
Bachelors degree in Nursing, General Science, Business or similar discipline
A minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a field sales/inside sales, clinical/technical, or marketing role within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry
A willingness to make multiple outbound sales phone calls on a daily basis
Computer proficiency including MS Office
The ability to build strong customer relationships, both internally and externally and throughout a customer organisation, at all levels
Excellent communication skills, strong rapport building and negotiation skills
An enthusiastic, energetic, can do attitude
Several jurisdictions across Australia have established mandatory requirements for healthcare workers and others working in health care settings to be vaccinated with at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. To be eligible to apply and be considered for this role, Medtronic Australasia requires candidates to meet the conditions of the relevant and current Government directions (including Public Health Orders). The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of vaccination before an appointment
**Nice to have:**
Experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM system is advantageous
