Sell for the “Best of the Best” in variable speed AC drives! Lead the sales growth within a broad geographic region selling a wide of range of industrial AC drives directly to large original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and integrators of electrical systems. The target OEMs could include, but are not limited to, manufacturers of electrical motors to drive pumps, fans, rotating equipment, machine tooling, or automated industrial equipment. End use markets include Industrial and Municipal Water Treatment, Marine, Pulp & Paper, Alternative Energy, Building Automation, Refining, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Steel, Power, and Automotive.

The company has R&D and production facilities in the United States, Europe, and Asia, with sales offices in more than 25 countries. RESPONSIBILITIES
for the position include:
Sell AC drives directly to large global OEMs and electrical systems integrators
Plan and execute sales calls and deliver presentations to target customers
Manage customer relationships and secure repeat business
Ensure company products are specified into customers’ equipment systems
Maintain excellent time and territory management skills
Expand sales and market share throughout a multi-state West Coast sales territory
Reports directly to National Sales Manager
Must be open to high levels of travel (50-60% routinely)
REQUIREMENTS
for the position include:
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
7-10 years experience selling AC Drives into industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments
Prior sales experience MUST include selling to large OEMs or electrical systems integrators, preferably large global companies
Well-rounded technical aptitude in areas of motors, drives, and electrical/mechanical systems
Sales “Hunter” mentality to open new doors and forge new relationships
Clear track record of outstanding sales achievements
Strong entrepreneurial drive and competitive spirit
Well-developed relationship management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
50-60% travel on a regular basis
