What's the role -
The JLI M&A Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting our inorganic growth of the Jiffy Lube network. This includes acquisition of existing Jiffy Lube stores, independent quick lube and fast fit stores, and competitively branded quick lube and fast fit stores. These stores are to be owned and operated by a JLI wholly owned subsidiary. JLI has a target of establishing a larger number of company owned stores over several years through both inorganic acquisition and organic development. This role is critical to the success of achieving our inorganic acquisition targets.
Position description - Accountabilities
Build and maintain pipeline of potential acquisition candidates in the target markets.
Approach targets independently and through relationships to be developed with independent brokers.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to assess the performance of target stores and develop plans to ensure delivery of value with all inorganic store acquisitions.
Assume the role of internal Business Opportunity Manager for store acquisitions covering prospecting, engagement, negotiation, financial modeling, contract development, due diligence, funding (internal to Shell), securing all requisite internal approvals, closing transactions and integrating the businesses into JLI’s entity franchisee company

Skills and Requirements
What we need from you -
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least four (4) years of experience, with franchisee and/or retail operations and/or M&A experience preferred
Strong commercial and business acumen to effectively construct and manage deals end to end
Strong sales 1st acumen
Development of complex negotiations
Ability to develop and foster strong business relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and partners including franchisees and suppliers in order to align system for profitable growth.
Ability to effectively present information to individual, small and large groups, internal and external to Shell.
Successful project management skills, with proven ability to deliver on commitments.
Strong influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Finance background a plus
