Description
The Director of Field Sales drives new patient growth in a multi-state territory consisting of multiple geographic markets. This individual directly develops relationships with strategic partners to grow our patient panels as well as managing market-based field teams who are responsible for managing broker and community relationships, hosting events and outreaching to prospective patients.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Manage 5-7 direct reports (Associate Directors of Field Sales) and oversight of 25-50 associates
Accountable for delivery of sales targets (i.e. new patients) in assigned territory
Develop and manage relationships with FMOs, health plans, community organizations and other strategic partners
Manage field teams in multiple geographic markets that are responsible for broker activation, community events, and lead management & outreach
Partner closely with national sales leadership, divisional presidents and market presidents to develop and execute on strategic growth plans
Oversee lead funnel management and actively manage other KPIs
Manage budget including FTE spend and sales enablement funds (local marketing, sponsorships, etc.)
Hire and develop field sales teams and assist in training new associates
Assist in the launch of new markets by developing territory and assisting in large events
Partner with marketing for event support and co-marketing opportunities
Travel required: conduct market visits within territory
Required Qualifications
8 or more years of experience
3 - 5 years of management experience
Experience in sales and in the healthcare sector
Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce
Self-motivation with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limit
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
