The Account Manager is a salary plus commission based role that requires a successful sales representative to spend the majority of their day prospecting, meeting with clients on-site, building and maintaining existing relationships with customers, generating quotes and completing successful closure of the sale.

This is a consultative sales process that requires an individual that has an entrepreneurial spirit and drive for success. This role is a proactive hunting role which requires a self-motivated individual. This is a fast-paced role in an ever-changing environment. It requires a person that can multi-task at a moment’s notice, strong interpersonal skills when interacting with internal employees, external clients, and virtual team members

Job Responsibilities
Viewed as a trusted business advisor and industry expert to the client
Heavy focus on prospecting new business in the Hospitality sector
Build relationships tied to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Business Value Proposition
Prospect, develop and lead vendor relationships
Utilizes strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions
Analyzes multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommends an appropriate solution
Engages cross-functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/ meet customer needs
Effectively balances short term and long term priorities
Develops and implements account plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives
Involved in contract negotiation and possesses strong financial/business and pricing knowledge
Focus on highly complex commercial solutions selling (i.e. e-procurement, MSL, large complex roll outs)
Have the ability to move clients to emerging technology solutions
Have organizational agility
Manage contractual accounts
Engage client leadership at the executive level

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years in Business to Business Sales
5 or more years with Account Development or Account Management
3 or more years prospecting new business
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3 years of IT and or AV sales experience
