The candidate will work in partnership with the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Management as to the core principals of qualifying and moving leads forward to the sales team based on historical and future analytics, annualized revenue growth, increased RPI, rooms to space ratios, arrival/departure patterns, seasonality and set rate guidelines. Per these parameters, the position will move the lead forward to the assigned sales manager with specific rooms/space/rate/food & beverage minimum guidelines (or turndown the lead). TALENT: nExperienced sales and/or revenue management background of 3 years in 500 room hotelnConfident presence supported by excellent analytical, written, verbal and presentation skills (including customer contact and dialogue as you qualify the lead opprotunity). nExperience working with Delphi/Delphi FDC (Salesforce)nExperience working with Meeting Broker and cVentnSTRATEGY: nServe as the first point of contact for incoming leads for qualificationnnWork closely with departmental directors in reviewing core principals as it relates to moving leads forward. Considerations to include: ntnHistorical & Future AnalyticsnConsideration of past hotel data combined with future group demand allowing for annualized revenue growth and RPInDay of Week Patterns and pre-qualification of alternate available datesnRooms to Space Ratio Qualification and right-sizing available space to maximize group contributionnPre-qualification of rate offer based on at or above the established minimum acceptable (MAR) guidelines nUnderstands strategy as it relates to seasonality and business levelsnDetermine benchmark for group food & beverage minimum spend per group room contribution (PGRC)nEstablish proposal deadlines based on customers decision making process and due date(s) to ensure prompt follow upnnnPer these parameters, the position will move the lead forward to the assigned sales manager with specific room flow; assign specific meeting space; provide suggested minimum for food & beverage based on guidelines or turndown the lead. This position is responsible for monitoring group lead in-box and serve as the lead catcher for the hotel.
