 Aon is looking for a CBS Regional Sales Consultant - CBS/MM BenAdminAon is hiring a Regional Sales Consultant who will be responsible for new business sales in their assigned territory.  The Health Solutions Regional Sales Consultant will be a part of multi-faceted, forward thinking team whose goal is to deliver innovative and effective solutions within our Connected Benefits Solution practice.  Our Connected Benefits Solution (CBS) delivers Benefit Administration consulting to support our clients and prospects in the search and selection of BenAdmin technology for their organization.  We believe as legislation and business processes complexities grow; organizations are looking for ways to outsource their administrative burden while bringing a year-round experience to support their diverse, multi-generational populations.  Aon supports our clients solving these challenges and making the better decisions to help them long term.  Through the discovery process, we evaluate these challenges, and identify opportunities to maximize the use of technology to bring benefit strategies to life through a different employee experience.  The Aon CBS Regional Sales Consultant will be responsible for the management of the sales plan in his/ her defined Market geography.  This position will support Producers, Market Sales Leaders, Account Executives, and various other channels who carry sales goals to assist them achieving those goals by selling Aon's CBS(wherein Aon becomes the clients Broker of Record for all lines of coverage; and provides a full-service solution of Benefits Consulting, Benefits Administration, and Brokerage services).  This will be accomplished through direct sales and prospect generation activities with local Sales Leaders and Producers, pipeline management and reporting, proposal writing, sales tracking and information sharing as it relates to new business opportunities.    Will be involved in implementing local annual and sales and marketing strategies (focused on Mid -Market prospects between 500 and 8,000 lives). Position reports directly to the US CBS Leader.  Works in close collaboration with local markets and Regional Sales Director(s) and New Business Analyst(s). Responsibility AreasDemonstrated proficiency in benefits administration sales, technologies and solutionsDemonstrated proficiency in and a broad grasp of Health and Benefits practice; and the benefit strategies and needs of a typical mid-market client or prospectWorks with local sales and market leaders to develop annual local/regional plans, consistent with objectives set by the practice (with emphasis on Aon's largest markets in the Midwest and West Regions)Manages and tracks sales activity in support of the annual plans and goalsProvides pipeline management, analysis and reporting across all channelsCoordinates with local leadership to ensure opportunities are appropriately staffed and managed (as most new sales are a collaborative effort between this role, the CBS sales lead; and a local market Health and Benefits Consulting Account Executive.  The H&B AE bringing deep benefits design and consulting expertise, the CBS lead bringing deep benefits administration and delivery expertise through sales support and subject matter expertiseTracks and reports on sales activities for a defined geographyProvides project management support to encompass H&B new and expanded sales from the following sales channels:o Health Account Executiveso Risk Account Executiveso New Business Producerso Specialty Practice Leaderso Third party originators, as applicableCoordination & execution of Marketing events and sales follow-up action plans, in close collaboration with Marketing personnel and market leadershipCoordinate with segment leaders for resourcing initial prospect meetings/closing detailsProvide research and analytics to qualify opportunitiesPoint person for Unsolicited ProposalsMarshall Proposal Process by:o Leverage internal Aon proposal teamo Provide drafting supporto Maintain library of successful sales materialsFacilitate preparatory and post mortem reviews Aon ExpectationsMaintains a thorough understanding of Benefits Adminsitration and  H&B Consulting lines of business and the potential for integrated opportunitiesEncourages the use of new technology, ideas and methods when developing solutionsInfluences colleagues to work together effectively within and across business lines nationally and regionallyTargets new and existing clients with values-based solutionsIncreases efficiency, saves costs and promotes financial performance standardsManages own time well while covering a diverse geographic territory; and manages own travel and expense budget well. Formal Education & CertificationBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience Knowledge & ExperiencePossess extensive knowledge and experience.
