Job Summary:
The Market Manager will create and execute growth strategies in assigned market areas. Through leadership, the Market Manager will be the face of the local markets along with managing external relations and other development opportunities/issues proactively. The Market Manager is accountable for executing sales results in the market and will direct cross-functional teams to carry out objectives.
What you will be doing:
Work with local government, continue to build solid relationships. Assist with obtaining permits for construction and any other issues that arise from construction efforts. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company in the market. Coordinate with other company departments. Work with sales to develop plans by evaluating market conditions and opportunities. Evaluate market performance by reviewing sales results; recommend sales strategies and objectives for performance improvements in local markets. Develop new business programs to meet revenue goals. Prioritize growth capital expenditures to align with the sales and marketing strategy for the market. Identify areas of improvement and concerns and accordingly develop action plans. Directs and coordinates product or service offering promotions, develops new markets, increases market share, and achieves a competitive position in the industry. Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition, and aligns work with Corporate Marketing strategy. Accomplishes sales objectives, unit growth, and gets results. Work with Corporate Marketing and Direct Sales to ensure maximum customer growth, retention, and service. Builds company image while collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and associates; enforcing ethical business practices. Assists in directing sales channels to maximize efficiency in the market. Create an excellent work environment for employees as well as customer and community goodwill.
What You Need For This Position:
10 years of industry experience: prior sales & marketing or management experience in the telecommunication industry preferred Solid understanding of budgets and the ability to apply knowledge of concepts to forecasting growth and executing sales plans Ability to work with local governments and represent the company at any meetings Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic Demonstrate excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and outside the organization Customer service oriented with a passion for great customer experience Willing to achieve operational excellence Ability to analyze and define problems, prioritize workflow, meet deadlines and remain flexible Ability to maintain confidentiality Willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in the decision-making process and makes timely decisions. Must have a valid driver license
