Small, growing, Specialty Diagnostic company is looking for a new front line Sales Manager to lead a team of current high-performing Cardiology Specialty Reps
The Regional Sales Management position is responsible for managing Cardiology Specialty sales reps in promoting a niche cardiovascular diagnostic test for CAD.
The RM will be responsible and accountable for achieving or exceeding test volume goals and managing sales performance within their given region.
The RM may also provide input into marketing programs, and customer support programs.
Primary Duties include:
• Inspire, coach, and lead the sales reps to meet and exceed defined targets in a high-growth environment, maximizing the commercial opportunity for the product.
• Drive sustainable sales growth by directing and coordinating sales and customer support activities.
• Manage resources for and provide leadership and development of the sales reps regionally.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to sales reps regarding sales strategy, call planning/frequency, sales productivity, etc.
• Build and foster strategic partnerships with key provider and payer accounts, customers and KOLs to maintain effective regional relationships that can be leveraged as the company grows.
• Partner effectively with strategic accounts and managed care leadership to optimize regional opportunities to maximize utilization and access.
• Regularly monitor, track, and report sales performance/progress including use of budget and resources across their region.
• Comply with company processes and policies.
• Monitor and track all expenses related to their region.
• Attend relevant outside conferences and tradeshows.
• Travel (at least 50%) to work with your sales reps, and customers.

Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Biology, Healthcare, Business or related field.
• 3 years of documented successful medical/pharmaceutical or diagnostic sales management experience.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostics is highly desired. Experience working in clinical applications is strongly desired.
• Knowledge of Cardiology is required.
• 5 years of documented successful medical/pharmaceutical or diagnostic sales experience is required.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft office; PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and contact management databases.
Education: 4 Years college
Travel Percent:50%
Experience: At least 8 Years experience required.
