We have been retained to identify a Sales Manager (San Diego)
for our client who is a fast-growing Vending Machine Operator in Southern California. In recent years, the company has expanded its business model to include Healthy Snacks and premium coffee solutions. Our client is undergoing aggressive growth and requires a true business partner to help steer this emerging Vending Machine leader.
A successful Sales Rep
will design and implement the appropriate business development strategy, manage and grow existing client relationships, guarantee maximum client satisfaction, and ensure company profitability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy
. Design and implement the adequate sales strategy in order to continue achieving high sales growth on a month by month basis.
Business Development.
Continuously develop a pipeline of qualified potential clients. Identify best prospects in target markets and region.
Manage the complete Sales Process
from prospecting to closing.
Consultative Selling.
Recommend the appropriate type of vending machine, product mix, and pricing to clients in order to optimize value added.
Negotiate
agreements and client commissions.
On-Boarding Process
. Manage the process of setting up a new account, oversee the installation of new vending machines, actively monitor driver deliveries, and handhold all initial account activity.
Account Management
. Provide the proper level of service to each account. Establish clear communication channels and frequency, send quotes, respond to all client communications (calls, emails, messages), provide feedback to management on how to improve service quality, address customer complaints, etc.
KPIs.
Achieve or surpass sales goals and profitability targets.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Education:
High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
Languages:
English (written and spoken). Spanish preferred
Experience:
Vending Machine Industry experience highly desired
2 years’ experience in Sales of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods to Convenient Stores
Acute knowledge of the San Diego market
