Job Description:
Within the job family of B2B/B2C Lubricants, a range of Commercial positions can be found such as those in Sales and Marketing which aims to attract and retain customers, build long-term customer loyalty and create demand for Shell’s Lubricants; Business Development which looks to identify new opportunities as well as to leverage more from existing accounts; and Strategy which aims to provide expert problem-solving and project management support for the highest priority strategic issues.Job Description
Typically:
• Implements and ensures execution of specific promotional activities and programs and advises on same.- Collaborate with the Promotions & Loyalty Program Manager, Digital ECRM Manager, Creative Services Manager, Global & Local Brand and Channel/sector teams on promotions and program fulfillment processes including micro sites required for execution.
• Portfolio covers markets where it is possible to implement global marketing strategies without changing them.
• Provides operational input from own area for departmental strategy and objectives. Translates departmental strategy and objectives to operational plan for own area and is accountable for its realisation.
• Contacts and co-operates with stakeholders within the same business unit and with external parties on a tactical level. Good understanding of interfaces with other disciplines and parties is needed.This job profile contains generic information and does not describe individual positions or required job competencies. Strong attention to detail is a must.
Strong capability for managing agencies and ensure clarity of expected delivery and goals.
Strong relationship and stakeholder management capability.
5 years of sales & marketing experience in the Lubricants cluster marketing role or comparable role
Experience in delivering results through others
Lubricants customer and channel knowledge gained through previous sales and marketing roles is a plus
Working knowledge of GSAP as it relates to invoices and expense review
Leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated negotiation skills and results oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with competing deadlines
Strong service-oriented individual
