The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the definition and execution of commercial strategy in collaboration with US Business Development Manager and HQ C-Levels.
Roles and Responsibilties
Develop opportunity pipeline
Define and establish key partnerships throughout industry (State and municipal policy representatives, industry advocate groups)
Define commercial visibility strategy and manage implementation (social media, conferences & trade shows, industry memberships & events)
Manage sales team, ensure sales process excellence and participate in sales negotiations
Grow and maintain market intelligence (market size, customer segmentation, benchmark pricing, trends)
Coordinate with technical and operational teams on client value statement and continuous improvement for product and service offering
Manage and maintain accurate opportunity pipeline in digital systems (CRM)
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related
10 years sales experience in commercial building sector in the region
Previous roles: Head of Sales, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager
Proven commercial achievements and commercial strategies implemented
Existing industry relationships in commercial building sector with focus on energy efficiency and sustainability (ESG directors, Universities, REITs, municipalites, engineering firms, construction managers)
Knowledge of public tender process and requirements
Knowledge of Energy Performance Contracts (PPA) and related financing mechanisms is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Teams
Experience with SAP is a plus
English speaker; French a plus
