JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Product Development Manager for Segments is responsible for developing Cintas Rental solutions for the Healthcare, Education, Hospitality and Government segments. The Manager will work closely with Segment leadership as well as the Product Development teams in Facility Services and Uniform Merchandising to create a solution approach to these segments.
Duties:
· Develop product pipeline for the segments, including a prioritization and resource plan for projects
· Research segment needs to stay current on industry standards, updates, trends and process improvements
· Conceive and evaluate new differentiated product and service offerings to provide a meaningful unique offering that aligns with Strategic Plan
· Develop sustainable pricing, selling and service models that integrate products and services into current operations
· Promote plans internally, and gain organization agreement and commitment
· Lead Field Tests and Larger Test Markets to identify successful products for launch
· Execute solid testing methodology including planning, documenting learnings, executing and analyzing to advance project in the development process
· Analyze data to support decisions for the advancement of projects in early phases of development as well as recommendations for advancement in later phases of development
· Interact with customers for technical support, interviews, and insight mining
· Promote plans internally, and gain organization agreement and commitment
· Develop sustainable pricing, selling and service models that integrate products and services into current operations
· Work with marketing and sales training to develop launch plans including training, collateral and internal and external awareness campaigns
· Identify and coordinate product discontinuations to maintain a refreshed offering
· Create and manage product specifications
· Work with vendors to leverage as technical resources and support for active projects
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Required
o Bachelor's
o Possess ~3 to 5 years of related business experience
o Office Proficient
o Travel minimum 25% could be up to 50%
· Preferred
o Experience training field sales on new products and tools
o Experience interacting as a technical expert with customers
o Experience in vendor negotiations
o Experience in Facility Services or Merchandising desired
o Possess excellent public speaking skills
o Experience developing business plans for new products
