Description

Our Senior Manager, Medicare Sales motivates and drives a team of Medicare Sales Representatives who sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on our services in a field setting. Responsibilities
In this field position, you will; coach, mentor, educate, discipline and train a team of sales individuals. The Senior Manager, Medicare Sales must have a solid understanding of the market they serve, how to resolve operational problems and provide creative solutions to increase sales while following CMS guidelines. This role also involves cultivating, maintaining and building relationships with Humana's customers, both internal and external business partners, along with the community we serve through telephonic, virtual and face-to-face interactions with individuals and groups. Other responsibilities include developing marketing budgets, looking for branding opportunities and guiding a large contingent of independent/contracted agents.

Required Qualifications
Active Florida Health and Life Licenses
2 years of sales experience in the insurance industry
Ability to lead a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques including field and telephonic , educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
Community Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans in the community
Strong aptitude for technology to include high level proficiency of CRM tools, Sales/Marketing Resources, Microsoft Office with proficiency in TEAMS, Excel, and PowerPoint
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must reside in the territory(Orange or Seminole County)
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree
Sales leadership experience

Upon offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana)
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
