Description
The Digital Sales Director will strategize to meet membership and growth targets by continuously optimizing the digital sales funnel for new sales, retention opportunities and cross-sales. The Digital Sales Director requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities function.
Responsibilities
The Digital Sales Director strategically manages membership growth and retention through the digital channel. This person will understand the current abilities of the channel and define the capabilities necessary to foster future and ongoing growth for digital and digitally assisted sales, removing friction within and between channels. In addition, you will:
Manage the platform strategy ensuring that the correct tools and platforms are in place to achieve the channel's sales goals
Lead analysis to drive recommendations for market opportunities or platform enhancements, including identifying and vetting 3rd party providers who have tools that can help close gaps in our sales funnel and process
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), member insights, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Quickly build strong relationships in highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organization to build consensus across multiple departments in growing the digital channel
Partner with other parts of the organization to create a seamless customer experience across channels and utilizing first party data as well as customer modeling requires the ability for systems to interact in real/near-real time
Lead and develop a team of two associates who will ensure project identification and analytics/reporting are in place for success
Key Candidate Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong consumer focus. You will gather a deep understanding of market dynamics such as competition, influencers, trends, history. Success will be measured against driving to and exceeding goals for acquisition, digitally-enabled sales, and retention.
Bachelor's degree or 7 years of related experience, Master's degree preferred
3 years in a leadership/management role
Extensive experience with complex sales planning and execution, including performance management, online sales/marketing, project coordination and team leadership
Exceptionally skilled in driving results against aggressive timelines, managing multiple priorities, and executing flawlessly
Quantitative analytical skills to assess data to generate insights along with financial and business impacts
Demonstrated communication and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively with partners across different functions and colleagues at all levels
Additional Information
This position is eligible to be US-based remote, with ability to travel 10 - 20% of the time
