Job Description:
Purpose
This role will identify, develop, negotiate and deliver key partnerships for Shell Lubricants India to accelerate the growth in B2G segment. The role is also expected to own and execute the first phase of the contracts. Create and track strategic account plan to meet India 2021 Road map” and in Accountability section “Maximize Business development through developing relationships with key stake holders with Customers and their influencers”.
Accountabilities
Identify target set of potential partners ; review business profiles, fit with Shell, growth potential etc to narrow the list to key partners to target
Develop the relationship and negotiate the long term strategic agreement
Deliver top line growth by selling Shell Customer Value Preposition in line with shell HSSE policy and Shell general business principles
Coordination with marketing, business finance, credit, customer care centre, sales support and logistics teams to ensure the implementation of the strategy for the sector and for its growth
Business Development opportunities across the sector.
Maintain and grow good working relationships and business associations with the Commercial, Sales and service teams.
Drive the business through SPANCOP process, supporting for conversions and ensuring increase in market penetration and market share.
Ensure Sales 1st process, tools and gladiatorial standards are met by self.
Effectively manage direct costs within the business and ensure competitive cost structure for business conduct.
Working along with marketing team, build, support, develop and implement marketing initiatives and business growth strategy.
Utilize all available resources effectively for business growth and manage interface with support functions for the business.
Adhering to Shell General Business Principles in all transactions and conduct of business with external parties; demonstrate and inculcate this behavior.
Demonstrating commitment to and be responsible for HSSE and the company’s commitment on sustainable development; inculcating safety conscious behaviour, with external parties; meeting own safety targets as per the performance contract. BE/B Tech with MBA degree
10 years of sales or business development experience selling brand and value is essential.
Previous experience of B2B is a requirement
Prior experience in entreneurial business building with a long term strategic partner is a plus.
Detailed knowledge of Railways, Defence, Metal and Mining sector also useful
Previous experience in managing complex B2G Tendering process
Knowledge of CRM based tools or other internal sales management systems
Mature to handle senior Govt. officials
Demonstration of Enterprise First behaviors.
