Job summary

The Market Intelligence (MI) team is seeking a leader for the new Analyst Relations Sales Enablement team to implement sales enablement programs providing field teams with third-party research insights necessary to help customers make cloud purchasing decisions. The Head of Sales Enablement will orchestrate and optimize sales enablement efforts across regional and corporate Analyst Relations (AR) teams.
The MI team aims to track, evaluate, and accurately explain what is happening in the cloud space.
We focus on understanding the breadth and depth of functionality offered by AWS versus others, rapidly analyzing key market activity to provide Sales, Marketing, PR, and AR teams with tools and guidance to help customers. As part of Analyst Relations, we also spend a lot of time understanding market trends to coach sales teams about how to use third-party analyst research to keep customers informed about what differentiates AWS from others.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to identify third-party research that is relevant to customers, to deal with ambiguity to produce scalable programs addressing different kinds of problems, and to listen empathetically and coach sellers.

€¢Drive a global team of sales enablement leaders to effectively support regional sales teams in partnership with regional business leaders.
€¢ Design, develop, and execute (AR) global sales enablement programs working with Sales and Analyst Relations leadership.
€¢ Leverage sales enablement platforms, tools, and technology expertise, to listen to sellers as well as ensure sales leaders and reps efficiently use the AR content.
€¢ Proactively engage and participate in existing global and regional sales readiness initiatives to inject AR content.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
€¢ Bachelor's degree.
€¢ 8 years of Sales Enablement leadership, Sales Enablement experience, or Sales readiness.
€¢ 3 years of managing direct reports.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
€¢ MBA.
€¢ Familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
€¢ A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and training.
€¢ Excellent written and verbal technical communication with an ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
