The Large Group Client Executive - Employer Group is responsible for growing and retaining membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts.
Responsibilities
The Large Group Client Executive - Employer Group works with agents and consultants to retain a block of business. They are responsible to updates employers on Humana capabilities to create business opportunities and/or enhance the perception and understanding of Humana capabilities. Delivers organized, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to the employer's business needs. Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments to support the development of new product initiatives. Maximizes sales by articulating how Humana's capabilities can contribute to employers' long-term strategies. Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan that results in increased sales and maximized profitability by maintaining and expanding penetration of existing products and cross selling other Humana products. Cultivates strong, productive and influential relationships with brokers/consultants, customers, and peers focusing on the larger or more complex accounts/prospects. Implements strategies necessary to attain sales objectives in assigned areas. Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events as a Humana representative.
Required Qualification
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrations or related field or 5 years' experience sales or account management or related field
Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry
Self-Starter, Implementation and Sales Strategies, Relationship Building
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS)
Active life and health insurance license in the state of OH
Presentation skills - ability to speak in public - Executive Presence
Strong Emotional Intelligence
Knowledge of agent/broker environment
Flexibility in schedule, time management skills
Reasonable commutable distance to Cincinnati, OH
Potential day travel, some potential overnight travel (sales conferences) Up to 25%, based upon business need
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
