To lead and develop a sales team of highly experienced individuals in growing sales for a new sales channel in the Peripheral Vascular Health business of the Cardiovascular portfolio through an Interventional Radiology focus. This role will provide strategic direction and consultation to the regional team to drive the achievement of sales objectives within the IR (Interventional Radiology) business. This role is responsible for analyzing sales results and trends to determine sales strategy and inventory requirements.
The IR District Sales Manager will create and define opportunities for collaboration across the Cardiovascular Portfolio to provide strategic opportunities to leverage the full portfolio.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, organizes, and implements sales programs that will drive sales results and team development for the assigned district.
Trains, develops, and mentors all team members within the district to ensure they have the skills necessary to achieve sales goals.
Responsible for developing and managing the district budget, developing forecasts and reports, and the strategic deployment of resources within the district.
Responsible for developing relationships with identified KOLs to provide world class customer service and customer relations.
Collaborate with Cardiovascular portfolio colleagues to leverage the full portfolio where appropriate.
Provide guidance to team on specific targeting of key accounts and proper account management strategies
Manage the performance and development of the Sales Team
Develop key physician champions to help promote IR products
Review and monitor results throughout the year and provide the proper direction to sales team to ensure achievement of individual, District, and corporate goals.
Ensure that customers, market, and segments have been properly identified and targeted through market research and communication with Sales management.
Responsible for product and account management, marketing research/sales planning, including market forecasting and analyses.
Work with Corporate Accounts team to identify and target appropriate strategic accounts and opportunities.

Bachelors Degree
5 years of medical sales experience
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
5 years selling cardiovascular medical devices
Leadership experience managing a team of medical sales reps
Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals and objectives within budget.
Demonstrated success in building, motivating, coaching and leading a sales team
Cross functional collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
Selling, presentation and technical skills, including computer skills, (e.g. word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and the effective use of presentation software)
Demonstrated ability to act independently without frequent direction
Strategic and analytical thinker
Fiscal experience managing a budget and resource allocation
Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of results in medical sales
MBA or related Masters degree is preferred.
Demonstrated success in the Interventional Radiology space or similar.
Independence, energy, and positive attitude
Ability to adapt and change within dynamic market and business environment
Success in leading teams in a complex work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to manage multiple products / projects

Ability to work in Cath Labs and or O.R. with radiation exposure
Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, work schedule
