Global Inside Sales Representative
Industrial Global Inside Sales Representative to lead International sales by interacting with existing customers and new prospects to increase sales and tonnage through the development and management of existing and new programs. Provides support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits if necessary. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Lead and directs the work of other team members. Performs variety of tasks including ability to perform other team members’ duties. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected towards accomplishing sales goals.
Position requires excellent memory skills, organizational skills, metallurgical knowledge (a plus), math skills, computer keyboard skills and detailing for compliance with technical society standards, industry specifications, and/or customer specifications. Be fluent and able to write in Spanish.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Telephone sales with existing and potential customers.
Pursue new sales leads in conjunction with field sales.
Develop sales proposals/programs with profitable results leading to growth in sales and tonnage.
Ability to develop creative, innovative ways to position products and services to achieve sales goals.
Develop and manage market knowledge relative to products and competition and effectively communicate this information to other team members and management.
Edit and review quotes and orders for correct items, quantities and pricing in conjunction with sales team.
Strive for zero-defects. Ability to implement continuous process improvement to make the team more efficient thereby reducing errors leading to increased profits.
Ability to focus and deliver high level customer service.
Skills in relationship-building & business development.
Team player, positive attitude and unshakeable conviction to growth.
Friendly attitude when under pressure with penchant for multi-tasking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Reach monthly / annual sales goals.
Requirements & Miscellaneous:
BA/BS degree preferred
Experience in the fastener industry or related industry.
Has a desire for business; understands pricing, margins and profitability.
Exceptional command of Microsoft Office programs.
Presentable, flexible, professional & self-motivated.
Salary position with monthly commission.
Open to travel abroad as necessary.
