Account Executive Community Impact Specialist
The WAVY-TV 10 Social Impact Specialist identifies funding opportunities from various entities, including but not limited to the Cares Act, that purpose to inform and educate consumers through robust media campaigns.
Clients include but are not limited to Not-for-Profit organizations, government departments, foundations, and other agencies.

Win Social Impact Funding
Achieve New Revenue Goals for WAVY-TV 10 & FOX43
Prepare supporting documents for a proposal, such as cover letter, marketing plans, and documents describing how the Social Impact plan with be measured.
Follows up on a proposal and responds to queries.
The candidate should have excellent research and communication skills and be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft office and office computer equipment.
Social Impact Specialist duties and responsibilities include the following:
Generate revenue through research and engagement
Study and understand the capabilities, structure, objectives, and programs of WAVY-TV 10 and FOX43
Research Social Impact opportunities from appropriate entities
Draft social impact proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
Submit proposals to social impact coordinators for approval
Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals
Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders
Maintain records and submit reports related to social impact opportunities
Social Impact Specialist skills and qualifications:
Social Impact Focus
Marketing
Excellent Communication Skills
Bachelor's degree in English, communications, creative writing, or a related area (preferred)
A minimum of two years experience in social impact marketing (preferred)
Excellent knowledge of proposal submission process
Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources
Multitasking, organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity
Able to adjust quickly and smoothly to shifting needs and company/departmental priorities
