About the Role
As the Senior Sales Operations Analyst
, you will be responsible for providing business partnership for Global Sales Leadership, Finance, and Commercial Information & Systems to support execution of commercial business operations and achievement of sales objectives. The candidate will leverage her/his sales operations experience to support insights driven decision making by driving adoption of analytical resources into sales users' daily operations. This position will be located at our Pleasanton, CA
headquarters.
The ideal candidate will be able to successfully navigate and execute on the team's strategic vision in key areas of support including, pipeline management, forecasting, territory/account management, sales rep productivity, utilization of commercial technology, quota generation, and ability to improve and drive efficiencies through commercial process. She/he will work closely with Commercial counterparts on activities required to administrate a successful and efficient Sales process. This includes but is not limited to improve the productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, ROI of 10x sales reps and sales managers.
The Senior Sales Operations Analyst
will need to be comfortable in approaching and partnering with key stakeholders from several different functions at various levels of the organization.
What you will be doing:
Support insights driven decision making by driving adoption of analytical resources into sales users' daily operations.
Prepare advanced analyses to help identify and communicate trends and drivers to the business and how it relates to role performance
Proactively identify and develop or improve key processes to support integrity of commercial data required for business analysis.
Work with sales leaders to drive desired sales activity and performance.
Work closely with sales leadership to define and interpret optimal performance measurements to track regional / corporate priorities
Develop process to monitor sales pipeline management, forecasting, territory/account health management, utilization of commercial tools
Opportunity compliance dashboard / reports to manage overdue opportunities, opportunities with no description, next steps, etc.
Lead the effort and expansion globally by developing sound strategies which address regional needs but are interconnected with global 10x WOS&M policies
Improve the productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, ROI of 10x sales reps and sales managers.
Participates in regional/global projects relating to process improvement and/or system implementation and is seen as subject matter expert.
Improved commercial business process and utilization of third-party sales resources to ensure efficient and effective user experience throughout the Lead to Order Fulfillment commercial workflow
Contributes to developing business understanding and strategy around sales forecasting, budgetary process, quota setting, territory design and sales process optimization.
Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
Performs other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Successful track record in Commercial Operations, FP&A, or a related commercial support role preferred. Experience within life sciences is a plus.
5 years successful track record in sales, sales operations, or a related commercial support role preferred.
Background supporting various business partners with a focus on analytics and operational excellence.
Effectively and concisely communicates complex topics with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-guided in identification, prioritization and execution of deliverables and projects.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills
Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner with competing priorities.
Self-motivated with a desire to innovate and improve on current state.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications. Experience with Tableau, BI tools and (please use the apply button below) a plus
Preferred Education/Background:
MBA or bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Business or Technical field preferred. Life sciences degree a plus.
