We provide systems and application management software for Windows and Linux Servers. Our products are used by over 7,000 companies worldwide from small businesses to Fortune 1000 enterprises, and some of the world's largest datacenters and cloud infrastructure providers. Our Idera products focus on the management needs of Windows server admins and our R1Soft products focus on the continuous data protection needs of Linux and Windows server admins in hosted, cloud and enterprise environments.
We are seeking a technical, sales oriented individual with excellent communication and people skills. Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the Idera sales force in Latin America. Sales Engineers work in conjunction with the sales team and serve as the primary technical advisor for our products. Sales Engineers are also responsible for performing system demonstrations, responding to RFP's and attending trade shows.
As a Sales Engineer
your responsibilities will include:
Perform system demonstrations
Respond to RFP’s
Attend Trade Shows
Updating and maintaining the training curriculum
Conducting training sessions for the inside sales force and channel partners
Providing and creating competitive positioning strategies
Experience Required
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales, sales training or public speaking with a strong knowledge of technology. Must possess excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing. Must also have:
2-5 yrs. experience in sales, sales training, software or IT technology
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience selling to accounts in Latin America
Strong command of Spanish and Portuguese language
An eagerness to learn
Ability to perform technical demonstrations to end users
Technical knowledge of software, IT infrastructure or networks
Team oriented
Technical background in SQL Server and/or Linux are essential for this position
Public speaking or training experience
