nJob DescriptionnWhat will I be doing?nAs a Senior Sales Manager you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:nnStaff, plan, control and direct the activities of the sales force of sales team members to obtain maximum sales volume. Direct activities on Sales floor and obtain maximum efficiencies. nDirectly responsible for Management of the Sales Managers; to also include Sales Leaders and Sales Executives.nHandles training of the Sales Managers and Sales Leaders, including Auxiliary and Interim T.O.'s.nConducts sales training for sales team and helps to develop monthly training calendar (along with DOS and Sales training department) and actively participates in sales training and ambassadorships, etc. nConducts annual sales rides and reviews with sales executives and sales management to ensure the sales process is being followed.nMeets with a specific group of sales team members monthly for mentorship and goal assessment.nConducts motivational and meaningful morning sales meetingsnRegularly coach, mentor, develop and motivate Sales Managers, Sales Leaders and all other sales team members to perform at peak performance.nPartner with the Directors of Sales to help prepare an effective schedule for sales management and sales executives on a monthly basis.nHelp to create fun and motivational sales contests and events to maintain an inspiring and positive work environments.nMust have their finger on the pulse of the day to day operations of the sales floor and be able to promptly handle the situation and/or notify the appropriate department head.nParticipate in the interview process and selection of team members.nWhen needed, handle and resolve guest and owner issues.nHelp in managing overage as it occurs include podiums, as necessary.nEnsures performance management is consistently executed and driven throughout the site.nManage floor activities to ensure proper manager coverage daily.nCloses sales in an exemplary fashion.nWorks in partnership with the cancel/save program and manages the cancellation log.nProvides feedback and ideas on strategy to the Sr VP that will aid the team in exceeding set monthly key metrics.nCan competently step in for the DOS when they are out of the office.nMust be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, holidays and any other days/ hours as required per business needs.nCarry out all other reasonable requests by management of which the associate is capable of performingnnnQualificationsnWhat are we looking for?nHilton Grand Vacations is a leader in the vacation ownership industry, operating with an unwavering commitment to innovation, quality, and continued growth.
